For leaders who already know the theory

Executive training built around the decisions you actually face

Most leadership programmes teach frameworks. We work with the live tensions, trade-offs, and political realities of your role — and build sharper instincts around them.

Before we coach, we diagnose

Every engagement begins with a structured diagnostic — not a personality quiz, but a candid examination of where your leadership is generating friction, where it is generating momentum, and where the two are tangled together.

We interview key stakeholders, review your decision history over the past twelve months, and map the informal authority structures around your role. The result is a clear picture of what to work on — and what to stop working on.

  • Stakeholder perception mapping across direct reports, peers, and board members
  • Decision-pattern analysis — how you allocate attention, energy, and political capital
  • Confidential narrative interviews that surface what surveys miss entirely
  • Organisational context review — strategy documents, team structures, recent changes

How our executive training works

Phase one

Immersion and diagnostic delivery

Over the first two to three weeks we complete the diagnostic process and present findings in a private, unvarnished debrief. This is not a report that flatters — it is a mirror. We identify the two or three shifts that would create the most leverage in your leadership, and we agree on the scope of the engagement together.

Phase two

Intensive practice and rehearsal

Fortnightly sessions over three to four months. Each session works on a real situation you are facing that week: a difficult conversation, a strategic bet, a team dynamic that is not resolving. We rehearse, pressure-test your thinking, and build the muscle memory for a different pattern of response. Between sessions, you carry out deliberate practice assignments anchored to your live responsibilities.

Phase three

Integration and stakeholder check-in

At the midpoint we revisit the original stakeholder map. Have perceptions shifted? Where is momentum visible? Where is resistance persisting? This data recalibrates the second half of the programme so we are always working on what matters most right now, not what mattered when we started.

Phase four

Sustained autonomy

The final phase reduces session frequency and increases your independent decision-making. We document the internal operating principles you have developed — your own leadership playbook — and establish a lightweight check-in rhythm for the six months following formal completion. The goal is not dependence on a coach; it is a permanently upgraded operating system.

Measured results from recent engagements

Aggregated data from twelve executive training programmes completed between 2023 and 2025

41%
Improvement in 360-degree feedback scores

Participants showed a median 41% improvement in stakeholder-rated effectiveness across influence, strategic clarity, and team enablement — measured at programme start and again six months after completion.

3.2×
Faster decision cycle on cross-functional initiatives

Leaders reported cutting the average time from problem identification to committed action by more than three times, primarily by reducing unnecessary consensus-seeking and clarifying decision rights within their teams.

87%
Retention of direct reports over 18 months

Teams led by programme graduates retained 87% of their members over the following eighteen months, compared to a company-wide average of 68%. Improved managerial clarity and psychological safety were cited as primary drivers.

£2.1m
Average revenue impact attributed by sponsors

Executive sponsors identified an average of £2.1 million in additional revenue or cost avoidance directly linked to decisions made differently as a result of the training — calculated conservatively using only outcomes with clear attribution.

92%
Would recommend to a peer executive

Nearly all participants said they would recommend the programme to a colleague at a similar level. The most frequently cited reason was the absence of generic content and the focus on their specific organisational context.

6 mo
Median time to first observable shift

Stakeholders typically noticed a meaningful change in the leader's behaviour within six months. The fastest observable shifts tended to involve meeting facilitation, delegation patterns, and how disagreement was handled in senior forums.

Questions we hear often

Our programmes are built for C-suite executives, managing directors, senior vice presidents, and founders who lead organisations or major business units. If you manage more than fifty people or hold P&L responsibility, this is likely a fit. We do not run open-enrolment group courses; every engagement is private and tailored to your specific context.
Traditional coaching often relies on reflective questioning and assumes the leader already has the answers inside them. Our approach combines coaching with direct training — we teach specific skills around influence, decision architecture, and conflict navigation, and then we rehearse those skills against your real situations. Think of it as applied practice, not therapy.
Fees depend on programme length and the scope of the diagnostic. A standard six-month engagement typically falls between £18,000 and £35,000 plus VAT. We are transparent about pricing from the first conversation and never add hidden charges for stakeholder interviews or between-session support.
Yes. Roughly two thirds of our current engagements are conducted entirely via video. We find that remote sessions are often more focused and easier to protect in a busy executive diary. For leaders based in Scotland or northern England, we are happy to meet in person for the diagnostic debrief and key milestone sessions.
We build a formal review point into every engagement at the three-month mark. If either party feels the programme is not generating value, we can pause or conclude without further fees. We have never had a client exercise this option, but we believe its existence keeps both sides honest and committed.

Begin a conversation

If you are considering executive training and want to understand whether our approach is the right fit, the simplest next step is a thirty-minute exploratory call. No pitch, no pressure — just a candid conversation about what you are dealing with and whether we can help.
